Obviously, the first man would be the earliest man, now wouldn't he? According to the Bible, man was formed out of dust and then life breathed into him by YHWH (the creator), who had already "told" the land to produce animals.

The first humans evolved from monkey-like creatures, and the first monkeys evolved from something else (probably an animal much like a modern-day lemur).
