Can someone tell me what: "The fool who owns an ox is seldom recognized as a fool" mean and what aspect of life does it relate to? And if you don't have a clue...you may guess!

Wel hier is my raaiskoot. 'n Os kan nie teel nie (so dit dien nie regtig enige doel nie), so hy word as 'n lafaard gesien, alhoewel hy nie 'n lafaard is.

So I'd say that it doesn't matter if you have something useless (to other people that is), because to you it might mean the world.

What I can tell you is that it is a Zulu Proverb.

i do no longer discover the flag offensive, yet i'm in a fashion disillusioned through such behaviour. I basically pick to push aside such, even with the undeniable fact that, i'm positive that a sturdy form of South Africans, be it white, black, blended and so on. do discover it offensive. I do even with the undeniable fact that each from time to time sense slightly uneasy/embarrassed after I see that flag or wondered through my Australian pals about our heritage. it really is been 16 years now and that i'm very pleased with the way far the rustic has come yet like i reported we oftentimes pick now to not imagine of it and seem in direction of the destiny.

to me it means the rich fool is better than a poor fool. it just tells you that money and wealth can cover a persons true character.

reminds me a little bit of "the emperor has no clothes"...

i think it relates to classes/rankings/wealth, and how we perceive people depending on their status/posessions...
