I never went to cancun, but my mom did last year. She told me that is very hot out there. She had a good time and she never told me anything about the weather going bad or that it rained a lot. I don't think that you should worry but you could always bring an umbrella.

I'm pretty sure that right now is the rainy season for Cancun but that if it does rain it's only for a short part of the day.

do a cancun search in travel , highlite resorts, often they have more detailed info on their weather ,or go to weather channel.dot com for more detailed forcast for the area .
