If all the young Republicans who supported this war would enlist, they wouldnt need a draft. I guess serving their country is beneath them.

There are two chances that the draft will come back. Little, and none.
Half of 18-29 Year-Olds Think Bush Wants to Reinstate Draft
But among 18 to 29-year-olds, 51 percent said Bush, 8 percent said Kerry, 7 percent said both would. Twenty-six percent said neither favored the idea, and 8 percent said they did not know. The margin of sampling error for the younger respondents was plus or minus 7 percentage points.
This is despite the fact that Bush (and Kerry when he ran) both clearly stated they were against reinstating a draft. Obviously a lot of people don't bother to check facts, but just blindly accept what they are told.

Because only the Ds are talking about reinstating the draft. They think that they will scare people into thinking it will really happen and it will be the Rs fault.
In 2003 Congressman Rangel (D, NY) proposed legislation reinstating the draft. Even he didn't vote for it when the R leadership forced a vote on it. NO REPUBLICANS voted for it, and only 2 Ds voted for it. It went down 402 - 2.

Republicans do not want a draft !! Dems are crying that the military is full of poor black kids that had to enlist because they needed college tuition !!! Dems are the ones that say we need a draft to keep everything fair !! They're sure a draft will assure there are "rich" kids in our armed forces too !!

Well that would be fine, but seeing they are not reinstating the draft for the fact that a ton of young patriots in this contry VOLUNTEER to go to this war, because they believe in the cause, its kinda like asking what if the grass in the front yard turned blue..

If a draft is required, it will mean that our country is in need of protecting. So blame who you want, but you are powerless over the decisions that any party makes, so you will only be causing yourself turmoil by making it a concern. By the way, wasn't the Democratic party the ones who, decreased our military population to a dangerously low number?
Hmmm, seems like alot of bad decisions have been made by all.

Supporting the war really is only one view, people. It's a matter of supporting your country whether or not you agree with your chosen president. And who in the world says that the draft is going to be reinstated?

Most of the people who volunteer for the military vote Republican,. There's no way the Republicans would damage a crucial voting bloc by drafting in ne'er-do-wells like you.

The only people who are talking about a draft are Democrats.
Of course, the truth has never stopped fools from assigning blame anyway they feel like.

i wonder how many times i will have to read that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 , that has been stated numerous times over the years , that is not why we are at war , one attack is not responsible for what is going on , numerous attacks over the years is what you should blame instead of people trying to keep you safe and succeeding for 5 years now

Well since they won't reinstate the draft until the Democrats are in power, you really should blame the party in power.
