It's all about money and power. Not helping the Iraqi people. 75% of the world needs help.

Uh, we've all known for over almost 5 years now that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Why do you Bush-bashers keep bringing this old canard up? Bush, his administration, Fox News and Republicans have never thought Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. So can you finally stop saying this as if it actually happened? Can you just please stop lying? Thank you.
As for Iraq and terrorism, now you're directly contradicting facts and evidence. Going through Iraqi records shows that the Iraqi intelligence services have had a relationship with al Qaida since 1992. Yes, since 1992. Documents exposing this relationship have been corroborated with human intelligence.
He also supported other terrorists and terrorism against Israel.
This was part of the reason Bush decided to overthrow Saddam.
The other part was his repeated violations of the 1991 Gulf War ceasefire agreements. The same violations that caused Clinton to launch a sustained bombing and missile attack on Iraq in 1998.
For those who don't understand the concept, violation of a cease-fire agreement means that the non-violator may use military action to force compliance.
The democracy part of this action, the rebuilding of Iraq into a democracy, is our responsibility, because we don't just knock off a government and then leave - you have to put something in its place. And a constitutional representative democratic government was what the Iraqi people wanted. And because such governments are not war-mongers, it would bring a much needed stability to the region.
And we will not be reinstating the draft. The army doesn't need to have to waste its time with a bunch of recalcitrant, whining wankers.

No kidding! Can you imagine being there until January of 2009 (at the very least) at the same troops levels and in the same situation? Let's hope the Iraqis can gradually and successfully take control.

THere is no exit strategy because they don't plan to leave. They are building permanent bases and won't go while there is still oil to extract.
