The company is VERY casual. Everyone wears jeans and whatever. Sneakers... logo shirts..etc.

The position is a large I.T. Media Svc Co.

Got called back for what he called "just some information" and not really an interview.

Wear a nice shirt and some khakis. It isn't necessary to wear a tie again and be uncomfortable. Just don't go in with jeans a ripped t-shirt. GOOD LUCK WITH THE JOB!

I work for a company that provides IT Solutions. It's so laid back and I really enjoy it!

No, wear a tie. You can wear the same suit but a different shift color. Red or a blue. solid.
Just because the people in the company that work there have it casual doesn't mean you need to lower your standards.
You should dress professional to the interview.
Do not discuss trival items with them, even if they start the subject, relate everything back to you. How your the best, how you deserve this job, how hard you work.

Also I work for a large Communications company. Everyone in the company wears bluejeans, BUT the IT department. The man in charge is ex airforce, He set his departments dress code ABOVE the rest of the company's. He believes that everyone should look beter than the rest and set his department apart from everyone.

I think it is important for you to feel comfortable. If you would feel more comfortable in a tie, then wear one. Otherwise, business casual would probably be fine.
