Funny you should mention that. I remember a discussion on this very topic from studies on World War II, and you are right; aerial bombardment does not win hearts and minds, it only pisses people off. However, having said that, it is also an effective way to diminish command and control functions of the military when combat occurs.

I don't know where you are from, but do you actually believe there will be peace again? And I don't believe it is just the Americans that does bombings, you need to look into who else is bombing. Try looking at the other countries in the Middle East.

When will you believe it is Israel bombing Lebanon and not America? Just because they are made here doesn't mean we want to bomb people. Israel is doing the bombing, we don't choose to.

i dont believe in bombing people as some are innocent and should not be harmed, however we have extremist nutters knocking off our innocents like theres no tomorrow so something does need to be done
