If you are getting ready to send in pictures to playboy for playmate the best way to do it is actually just to take it in front of a white background. Playboy knows what they are looking for and they don't want to see overly sexed-out photographs. They want to see you from the front, the side, and the back, and a nice headshot. They don't want alot of make-up and they don't want to see your hair over-done. For playmate they are looking for girls who they know are naturally pretty - they can fix anything with the make-up and they are pretty particular when it comes to hair. Pictures that are done as sets are almost always thrown out. Also don't get your hopes up on pictures alone. Only a few playmates are ever picked from pictures sent it. Usually it's only cyber girls and sometimes special editions.
Your very best bet (and the way the pick up the majority of their playmates, cyber and special editions girls) is to either find a way to get to L.A. and make an appointment to have a poleroid test done at their studio or to make it to an open call in your area. You can check out the open calls but, going to http://www.playboy.com and clicking on the special edition tab on the top menu. Once you go to the special edition page click on the casting call tab on the top menu. The next one will be in Vancouver B.C. but, there is one in a different spot almost every month.
If you are submitting to special editions or cyber girl that's different story all together. While your chances are still much much better going to an open casting you can submit a full set to be considered. Jeff Cohen has much different taste in women then Heff and his staff. Playmates are girls next door, natural beauties, and have a really sexy innocent look. Cyber girls and special editions are a little more sexed-out hotties.
If you are going to submit to special editions make sure to get a professional photographer who has submitted before (try to get one who has gotten girls in, or at least has work that looks like it could be in playboy). You may have to pay for your photographer (if you amazing looks - you may not because they can use you in their portfolio) but, trust me it will be worth it.

send the one of you as tubgirl that should make the cover of the book. you could maybe get a contract to advertise for toilet paper or napkins or something. could be very lucrative exposure for you
