Are you refering to Poro Point Seaport? its located in San Fernando City , La Union.. it used to be a US Military Base until the bases agreement between US and Phil. expires before the Mt. Pinatubo eruption last 1991. The other former Military Base was in Baguio.. the famous John Hay

There isn't any US bases in the Philippines anymore because the Americans (some particlar groups) were all sent back to America in 1995 (I think).

By the way, the famous Camp John Hay used to be managed by Americans. Now the place is becoming more and more commercialized and many parts have been deforested to be replaced with new buildings.

No we phased them out years ago as the agreement with the Philippine govt to occupy them expired. Sadly enough though the Philippine economy has taken a big hit as a result and the Philippine government probably would like to take the decision not to renew the contract back.

There are no more US bases in the Philippines, but I think you're referring to a some kind of military museum I pass on the way to Baguio.

Nope, the Philippines pretty much kicked them all out and took over the nice facilities that they have built here.

No sad to say they are gone. I was stationed at Clark AB till the volcano erupted and I was sad to leave. I would love to return someday to check it out some time

The USA does not need us bases in RP because they have all government officials, including the president, senators, congressman and generals as their puppets.
