Why is Iran less trustworthy than Israel or Pakistan? Israel looks upon arabs and muslims as less than human, so they're the greatest risk. If having nuclear weapons is the problem, then why doesn't the US get rid of theirs? If you answer "self defense", then the Iranians can rightfully demand them for that reason too.

If the US or other countries were really worried about nuclear weapons being used, they would support the majority of Iranians who want a return to democracy. (The US helped overthrow and destroy Iran's SECULAR democracy back in 1953, to install the Shah.)

Instead of helping the democratic movement achieve power, the US antagonizes the islamic rulers. Because the democratic movements are patriotic, they'll back their own bad leaders rather than agree with the US, which makes Iranians want the weapons even more.

If anyone is turning Iran into a dangerous nuclear power, it's Shrub and the US.

Every country should be free to pursue nuclear technology. As an American citizen I know that we have been conditioned from birth almost to believe that we have the best and most righteous country. I think that is Pakistan and India can have nuclear technology so should Iran. Dont believe the government controlled media in this country. Pakistans president is an evil man who pretends to be our friend because thats what we like.I mean look Iran inhabits the same earth we do, they have children just like we do, do you really truly think they would use a nuclear weapon. I mean maybe they want the technology because oil is running out and they want it for energy. They should know about the oil running out if anyone would.Just because you dont understand the Muslims or Arabs or how they live their lives doesnt make them evil. He doesnt want the Jews all killed, just Israel gone. There is a big difference between the two, but I guess alot of people wouldnt understand that.

No. Iran is a very unstable country with a fanatical and fatalistic attitude against all western civilizations (and Israel). They also have ready-access to vast oil resources that will fulfill all their energy requirements for many, many years. The ONLY use they would have for nuclear technology would be for using as a threat or actual attacks on any/all of their targeted enemies. Iran and North Korea are both heavy instigators of WW III.

Yes, with reservations. During the negotiation it has become increasingly clear that Iran still wishes to continue relations with the outside world... It's not going for the "we can do whatever we want, 'cause we have nukes" option which Nth Korea has taken.

And even if it was, the only country which has ever actually USED it's nuclear arsenal is the democratic USA. "Terrrorist States" understand the reality that while it is beneficial in some ways to own the Nuclear Weapons, it certainly isn't to actually use them.

Yes,I think that Iran should pursue its nuclear tech.As you can see, think of the big picture. Why must America always be the successful country - aircrafts,army,etc....advance tech.So why cant Iran do the same?People around the world must see that we can't always think of who is the most powerful. Each country wants to be powerful. Therefore,I think it is right for Iran to con'td wif its nuke tech.It doesn't involve other country property or money right?Or is it because that America afraid that they might lose to Iran?Think abt it.

They have the opportunity to pursue nuclear technology under supervision of the IAEA, but they refuse to do so. In that case, no they shouldn't be allowed to pursue it.

"Technology" can be pursued, as long as it is scientific and as far as I know, every country has the right to build on military, weaponry etc. However nuclear weapons should not be used, see. Nagazaki. But I doubt that one country can be harrassed not to expand the technology, even if they have "unproven" wishes to use them.

Has Israel, USA, India, France and Germany ever asked any authority to persue nuclear technology? When they don't need any permission to "allow" them to persue N-Technology, why should Iran?

It most certainly SHOULD NOT.. and that is because they themselves said they want to develop it so they can anniliate Israel... If Iran has the nuclear bomb, the real World War III would begin without a doubt... I am hoping NOW that Israel will go in and bomb Iran
