Personally I think that having a stay at home parent (be it mother or father) is fantastic if you can handle it financially. As for other looking down on you, to hell with them. They are most likely jealous because their husbands don't spend any quality time with their children. I think you are doing a great service to your daughter, showing her that men can be caregivers and not the traditional role of breadwinner. As for your sex life, how much does your wife work? Is she busting her **** in order to be able to have you stay home? If so she may be exhausted and when you are tired sex is the last thing on her mind. You need to communicate with her and find out what is going on with her you owe it to your daughter and your wife and yourself.

Good luck!

I commend you for staying home...I believe that one parent should always be around their child and that the child doesn't go to daycare. Why are people so down on parents for wanting the best for their children?

I don't think your wife is upset with you for staying home...she maybe feeling guilty for not spending enough time with her child...try to make a day where the three of you spend a day doing something together...go to the zoo, park, beach whatever is local...also do make a date night with your wife...make her feel like she is special and appreciated for all the hard work...this is what the stay at home mommy does for her husband...I rub his feet and back at night before he goes to bed, I make sure his lunch is ready and he always has dinner waiting for him...little things like that do take a lot of work on our part but it means the world to the person who has to get up at 5 am the next morning and go to work....
Don't worry your doing a great job and keep up the good work...

are you kidding?? i think it's awesome that you're a sah dad!! the way i see it, too many men don't take enough interest in taking part in the family/raising the kids. (i know my ex only wanted to do the "fun" stuff...not the work.)
as for your sex life...maybe she's tired out from work...ask her! on the other hand, maybe she's jealous of you!
and be sure to make time for just the two of you...maybe have a "date night" at least once a month.

I think it's great that you are a stay at home dad! Just remember when your wife comes home, she wants to see the man she married, not a slob spread out on the couch!

It depends on which country you are in, in this part of England it is quite acceptable for their to either be a stay-at -home-dad or a single-parent-dad.

If it is ok with your wife then it should be fine. If not, you need to find a job.
