Worst movie ever has GOT to be "Red Zone Cuba" by Coleman Francis. Was given the treatment it deserved by the MST3K folks. A close second is "Manos - the Hands of Fate".
My favorite movie is much harder to choose -- there are so many good ones out there: "Casablanca", "Citizen Kane", "The African Queen", "The Princess Bride", "The Seven Samurai", . . . man, I just can't choose one!

The worst movie was Date Movie and now I am adding Silent Hill to that as well...
The Best movie would have to be a tie between Gone with the Wind and The Color Purple...they are both so well done and well written...the actors are awesome...these movies are what makes Hollywood

The best movie was The Color Purple... that movie makes me cry and laugh everytime I see it... and it showcased the true depth and range of acting for Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey.. in my mind a classic.
The worst movie was Battefield Earth... I wasted regular movie fare to go see that piece of crap.
