Put it toward a new car. Mine has seen better days. I put way too many miles on those things.

I would like to spend around $2,000 on a vacation with my husband, and save the rest for my daughter's college tuition. That's a nice windfall!

I'd take about $4000 and go on a really cool vacation.
I'd take the other $6000 and invest it. The stock cycle is really hot right. The grocery store stocks and pharmacy stocks are rocking right now.

I would spend $5,000 on a shopping spree and a vacation and I'd take the other $5,000 and put in the bank for when I'm older.

That has actually happened to me.
I paid off credit cards, bought a new car & put the rest in savings.

i would hold onto it for a while to make sure whomever sent it didn't make a mistake and want it back.
once I figured out it was really mine, i would invest it and earn some interest. get a financial advisor and make your money work for you.
however, $10,000.00, these days really isn't that much money, is it?

Wow, that is too hard of a question to answer. I mean, I sincerely apologize, but my brain cells are hurting from trying to come up with an answer, I mean, OUCH!, that hurts.
