on of peace? You know, you are right. I am SOOOOOOOOOO wrong about Islam. It's only a few muslim, so what is the fuss all about, right?

Jeeeeeeesh, why would anyone even think that Islam is not peaceful and loving, with thousands of examples like this each day: women and girls terrorized, bombings, killings, murders, suicides, all in the name of their satan-like god Allah?

See, heres a simple example: When someone in the West kills or injures others based on their warped Christian beliefs, we send them to jail or we execute them. In the Islamic world, they celebrate you, make you a martyr, give your family a reward, and recruit more, or call it honor killing.

Every single day the Islamic people and the councils that represent them around the world have numerous chances to try and convince me that the are indeed a peaceful, loving and tolerant people. All they have to do is show me just a smidgen of outrage concerning the actions of what the fundamentalists are doing in the name of their God.

Instead, they don't seem to have the courage or the desire to condemn suicide bombers and the mass killing of innocent people. No reaction is forthcoming even when they are asked by the United Nations to condemn the constant slaughter of innocent people by the Islamic terrorists. They instead show their outrage over published cartoons and issue death threats to anyone who has the gall to question their beliefs.

Actions do speak louder than words.

We all have to be careful the perspective we get from the news. They focus on the “newsworthy” items only.

For example, we had a flood in my hometown that made the national news. The President came here and helped people throw sandbags. For the next two days I was getting calls from Hawaii to Canada and all points in between from people I know asking me if I was OK. The flood was a mile away from me, and really only effected very small area of town. The news made it look like all of the (then) 250,000 people in town were flooded. 99.9% were not effected.

When the news covers something, more often than not it is the odd, spectacular, or horrible. The lens has a very narrow focus.

There are over one BILLION Muslims. We here about the nut cases. Granted there seems to be a lot of them. But then, that is the perspective of the news.

Go you. I stand that not all Muslims are bad but like extremist Christian they just rub you up the wrong way with their warped thinking. They are so brainwashed and knowingly ignorant or choosing to be that you just have to grit your teeth and hope for the best in their lives. I say bless and love everyone. I'd like to see more of that here, maybe the Liberals are right, we should have a Muslim way of life here in this country, Public Floggings, Chop Chop squares in every city and hamlet, on saturday afternoons.
