your local cobbler has a device that can stretch them with damage... might cost you a few bucks but it's cheaper than new shoes!

If you don't want to take them to a shoe shop, you can buy these things that go inside the shoe. I just put on really thick socks and walk around the house in them for a while. Then I stick the shoe stretchers in them and leave them overnight. Hope this helps.

Any shoe shop can help with stretching the shoes without damage. Call one of them in your area and they can put you in touch with the proper person.

Don't know if they make them for women, but they make "shoe stretchers" for men's shoes. They're made of plastic or cedar (cedar is better because it keeps your shoes smelling nice and repels moths) and they're usually spring-loaded so you have to kind of shove them into your shoes. They're not designed to "stretch" your shoes much; they're more for keeping the shape of the shoes and making them last longer.
