and she went to the Army doctor why do they check every 2 weeks instead of every week like regular doctors

Every doctor is different. It doesn't matter if they are military or not. I have had two babies with civilian doctors, one with a military doctor and am pregnant with # 4 (using a civilian doctor). My first two were delivered by the same OB practice but I had very different prenatal visits. With my first I never went every week as there was no need. I had no problems and a wonderful pregnancy. With my second, I started going every week after week 34 because they thought I was going into preterm labor. The baby ended up being born a day late!! So it really has nothing to do with civilian or military. It's more the pregnancy and how it is progressing. If she isn't having any problems there is no need to go every week. Plus, who wants to have a pelvic exam every week (performed during the last month)? Not me!!!!

Just depends on the doctor. I don't think it's just the Army doctors that do that.

I've heard of regular civilian doctors that just do every 2 weeks as well.

Ya understand the well being practitioner could be incorrect, espeically if it somewhat is your first toddler. i became 3cm one hundred% effaced & at 0 station for each week until now I had my toddler. She instructed me the comparable, she did no longer think of i might make it previous the weekend yet i did. You on no account can make it easier to comprehend can stay dilated for weeks. in spite of the shown fact that, I do think of you may take destroy day commencing now so which you will basically relax until now the toddler arrives

From some of the answers I have seen here - military medical doesn't do anything the way everyone else is used to having it done.

Probably because she seems to be managing well in her pregnancy. If she has any problems or concerns, she can call and speak with someone. In reality, the less 'checking' they do, the better.
