If your analog is suggesting the bear is the terrorist faction and the hunter is the countries being terrorized then yes, I do agree.
You cannot trust a thing that is insane. The terrorists have known no other way of life for thousands of years. To them it is a way of life to fight and kill. And to do so in a sneaky cowardly way. I fear that the hunter is too trusting and as I am an American, I fear the hunter lost his biggest gun when we did not complete the mission in
desert storm. Did our leaders not learn anything from our failure in Viet Nam. We must stop half way doing things and quitting. If there is no other way to calm the world into a place of co-existence then I believe we must take what we have fought for and make it ours to govern and manage. The goverments we are handing it over to, are apparently unable to handle the responsibility.
This is an extreme measure and one the US has never taken before, but we must have peace somehow. However that might be accomplished, for what is happening now is just plain stupid for us to continue.

If you are suggesting that the Bear ate the Hunter and that is his fur coat, I agree. But the analogy needs a little work.

You're assuming that we will come out worse in any negotiations with terrorists. Tell this to any hostage freed from Iraq. It's a generalization and it's not a suitable analogy.

I agree.
Its like the snake who got a ride across the river from the fox. when they got to the other side, the snake bit him. The fox asked why, after helping the snake, did he bite him. the snake anwered, you knew I was a snake. same thing. I say, death to all terrorists!
