Yes. You sprinkle a moderate amount of wit in your everday conversation. I have to say that it makes it more enjoyable to pay attention. Over here (Canada), we're more bland with the everday stuff, but then will take some time out and get crazy over a joke.

It seems to be so, from a US point of view. But the general public isn't really allowed to see anything but our humor and just a tiny glimpse of you Brits' humor. Honestly, I think every culture has a different version of humor. Yours is just a little more like a play than the US version.

I don't think so. I recently met family in Cornwall and around London and I found that they had very similar humor to mine and the kind of humor my friends have. I loved it! People from the states can be so uptight sometimes and it was refreshing.

It has been my experience that Brits think that American humor is baudy by their standards and Americans think that British humor is stiff by their standards.
Both sides are right, and both forms of humor are delightful!
