About £300 to £400

If people buy it with 60 games they are basically buying in bulk and would expect it pretty cheap.

Sell your expensive newer games seperately then get rid of the ps2 with the older releases.

To be honist you would not be looking at at getting a lot, I would suggest in the region of £300 / £400 depending on what version and condition of PS2 and the condition of the games.

If I were you I would part exchange the ps2 and a few games for a PS3 at either GAME or Gamestation as these shops to part exchanges and if you take your games into either Game or Gamestation you could probably get enought store credit to have a PS3 outright without any cash down as these stores will buy your games from you.

You have to be aware that when the PS3 comes out it will be hard to find as well as expensive, the games are going for £50 each and the basic package PS3 will be between £300 / £400 so you have to consider will it be worth it!

I am in the same boat as you. I have a PS2 and a bunch of games and I am planning on picking up a PS3. Here's my suggestion.

1. Don't get rid of the games. Keep em. For one thing you can play them on the PS3 and for another thing you aren't going to get much cash for them anyways. You never know when you are going to get the urge to pull out one of your old favorites. Example...I played "Medal Gear Solid" (PS1) straight through for like the tenth time recently.

2. Don't be one of the morons who goes out and picks up the very first generation PS3. It is SUCH a complicated machine there are bound to be glitches. I gaurentee that the first batch of PS3s will have some glitches that the programers will have to work on. For another reason it's going to take programmers at least two years to figure out how to best design games to play on this new machine. Remember, all the truely epic PS2 games (God of War being my favorite) weren't released until the PS2 had been on the market for a few years.

3. If you do want to sell your PS2 don't sell it to a pawn shop. Sell it to a gaming store. Hey, you're a gamer, not a pawner!

I work for a company that purchases used games. For a large ( thick) ps2 you will probably get $20-$40 US. If it has the small fire wire port on the front you will get the lower end. Sprts games are usually valued between $1-$2 if they are older then a year. you could always check gamestop.com for prices on games, they would pay you aprox. 1/2 the pprice the ylist to buy it.

I would hang on before you sell it .. I suspect the PS3 may have issues to start with and all the games on the PS2 will be compatible anyway so do you really want to get rid of them?

enable's see: PS2, say you receives $50 on that 2 mem playing cards @ $ each and each, so as it truly is $10 3 controllers, say $10 each and each, so $30 & $5 (known for blend of old and new titles) for the video games for a comprehensive of $100 twenty 5 comprehensive might want to be round $215 or anticipate per chance a lot less... you're very just about there.. sturdy success!

I can tell you you're not going to get enough from selling everything to cover the whole cost of the PS3. But you should be able to get between $150-$250 for the setup and all the games.

per game, probably between £3 if it is rubbish, but if it is as popular as the gta series then up to £8, and the actual ps2 will probably be £80. These are the prices i got at GAME stores anyway, good luck and be sure to get assassins creed and GTA4 next year!!!

You might wanna try going to Ebay or sell them separately at Walmart or Amazon.com. I've sold lots of things on them. Depending on what KIND of games you have, you could probably get about at least $400 out of it.
