it is possible in yahoo email when you log in to remember your id and password on this computer, therefore anyone who clicks on yahoo mail will be automatically logged into your email.

make sure those are unchecked at the log in screen.

cheers

Yes it is very possible to be read by others. If it used at work, your employer can have access to it if the computer system is set up correctly.

I know of many business' that have a system that notifies the employer when e-mail is used and even sends the employer a copy of the sent e-mails.

Some are security companies, some are stock and exchange companies and even my husbands furniture store has a special setup. If I send him an e-mail at work, then anyone in his store can pull it up and read it. It is actually sent to the store not just a single person.

It is quite possible.
Frequently change your passwords on some other computer away from your workplace.
If it is a company computer, on a network, it can have many keylogger software that can record each keystroke that you type. Also they can know your password.

If possible, do not access email while in the workplace.
Or create a different email account, for not so personal use. And keep one email account for personal, confidential use, and avoid using that account in your workplace. Actually you can read all your email from your yahoo account on your mobile phone as soon as they arrive. So you can use that facility too, for important emails.

can mail me for any further questions

ok interesting question it is so easy to know for sure if anyone checked ur message behind ur back or anything:
u can check the email options on ur yahoo to let u know when u read or anyone read ur mesage and when it is easy and u should know that every 3 months max u should change ur pasword of ur email msages taht noone can't ever steal it it is better and always try to make the password from letters and these letters is something that u can make in a phrase so that is easy to remember hope that helps:).

Yes, it's possible for anybody to read it even if you don't use it at work - if they know the technology and ways to do so.

Don't do that at work - you are there to work. Strong suggestion. Many employers, if not ALL, have access to employees machines and what they do very easily and do this on a regular basis and as a matter of fact have staff on board that do only that.

It depends on two main things
1. If you have your login settings on Public Computer i.e. on hotmail there is a cheack box - this will mean that the person will HAVE to know you username AND password or
2. If you computer uses remote montioring, it can piggyback onto you account, i.e keep the connection going so as to continue accessing your information. HIGHLY UNUSUALL

As long as you're signing out of Yahoo whenever you leave your computer, the only way they could read your email is if they know your password. Just make sure to click that Sign Out button everytime you're done with your email.

Yes. There is software that can track every keystroke and program opened. Don't e-mail from work, only at home. Good luck.
