But seriously, the most common pattern for juggling any even number of objects (4+) is that you juggle half in each hand, and they never cross. This is called a fountain pattern.

So to juggle 4 balls, you would juggle 2 in 1 hand with both hands at the same time. For 6 balls, you would do 3 in 1 hand with both hands at the same time. Obviously, it helps to be able to juggle 3 in one hand with both hands. But actually, you don't have to be great at that. Practice 3 in 1 hand with both hands, and also practice 6. By varying the type of practice, it'll keep things more interesting, and also help you to get better at all of it.
