I mean come on, ever since she realeased her first album she has received way too much attention. Also, once she came back to Destiny's Child for one more album her music has been much worse than it used to be. What do you think?

Overrated I don't know maybe its a bit too harsh. I think this generation is one of the most lack luster when it comes to originality. The seem to always rehash old material think of something original for once. Very few original artists and when they do they are extremely successful.

I agree, she recives way to much attention. On the last destiny's child cd that was relased it was THERE greatsest hits, so tell me why beyonce's had her song from the pink panther on there where she is a SOLO artist??? She is trying to do the whole justin timberlake thing were she breaks away from the band, well it worked for him, i dont think its gonna work for her

I would have to agree. I haven't liked Beyonce since the original Destiny's Child disbanded in 1999. I never thought she was the most talented. I just thought she was lucky enough to have her father be the Joe Jackson of the 90s. She's average to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

Overrated is a perfect adjective for Beyonce. I do not find her all that talented in singing, dancing or performing. But when it comes to marketing she seems to be pretty successful.

Im simply not into that kind of music. To me, I wonder what the kids see in it. But when I was young, jammin' out to Blue Oyster Cult, or Alice Cooper and whatnot, I'm sure my parents were shaking thier heads too...Nowadays, I listen to everyting from ABBA TO ZAPPA, but this soul, hip hop crap, I just don't get it...she has a nice @$$ though, I'd do her...but then I've always loved them a little skanky and chubby...

I agree about the bit when you said her music has been getting worse since she reunited with Destiny's Child, BUT I still think her music has been great!!!

Who else will remember Bee in one year? Everyone. Beyonce has put her mark on Hollywood and it's there to saty. She's beautiful, talented, one of a kind. Overrated? She's not overrated. She's very private and doesn't go to many shows or premieres. Overrated are Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and that Mischa Barton chick.
