ihave confusion between a planet and a pluton, but when is came to what is pluton then ifound planet and pluton as same.that is why i want to know the exact meaning of planets and Is the pluto is demoted no longer a planet.if yes,then why

A planet is an object that revolves around in a path or,Revolution. A planet is usually in a spherical shape,but due to asteroid crashes and implosions they can be in a slight-oval shape. The difference between a planet and a pluton is the diameter. A planet has more than 2,000 miles in diameter(Evidence:All planets in our solar system except pluto have a higher diameter
of 2,000) Basically a Planet is either desolate or thriving with life.(Only one planet is recorded to have life,Although other planets had the aspects of life,includig mars and some moons,and had mysteriously losed these aspects.)Also there are Gas Giants. Giant spherical object majorly condensed in Hydrogen Helium and Matalic Hydrogen. Some planets have rings.Some Have Moons or,Satelites,orbiting the planet itself.

A planet must be large enough for it's own gravity to pull it into a nearly spherical shape and have cleared the neighbourhood around it's orbit.
Pluto is disqualified because it's oblong orbit overlaps with Neptune's.
