Does anybody else ever watch a movie trailer and wonder if they would be alive to actually see that movie? It's a strange feeling to have, and I have it everytime I see trailers at a movie.

For you amateur shrinks out there, this is not an obsession of mine. Just a query. It's not like it dictates my life or anything. It's just that when I see a trailer for a good movie, I just hope that I'm still around when it comes out. You never know what will happen between now and then.

Wow Pauly! It's a rather pessimistic idea! No i never worry about dying when watching a trailer! I'm usually too impatient to see the movie!

That is not a normal reaction to a movie trailer. You are obsessing. Talk it over with a counselor if it bothers you.

No, I never had that kind of experience or thought when watching a movie trailer, that's kinda morbid.

I don't think I have ever felt that way before. Though there have been a few movies that almost make me wish I wouldn't be alive when they came out.
