i am a hindu & my best friend is a christian. we've had absolutely no problem for the past 6 years. my dad, i think doesn't like us getting along. he keeps, irritating me, by saying she's spoiling me. me & my dad fight everyday, for no reason at all. i dunno what to do. he is being so silly. any ideas????????

Your dad & u are fighting bout u having a christian girl as your friend right?. i heard this kinda story alot before and i think your dad is jus scared that she's trying to change what u believe seen she comes from a different religion. u need to try and talk things out with your dad and show him that your friend means no harm and isn't trying to break up the family that's another thing that some people think when you hang around people from other religions. it's gonna be hard for u to even things out with your dad i know it bt u've gotta try. u can contact me if u don't understand something i don't know if i was clear on what i said. hope it helps though:) e-mail sfc_lovergirl@yahoo.com

first of all there's only one god, let's make that clear, your dad basically needs a reality check. friends don't come by what religion they are, they come b/c you show yourself to be friendly. your dad is irritated with you b/c your hanging around the truth which is christianity, he wants to keep you blind to that, so that's why he doesn't want you around her. i say you and her need to stay friends and find out more about her christian life.
