Yes mariah carey is a true artist shes been recording writing and singing for 16 years and that is some achievement and she has changed her musical style and it's worked for her and still has people buying records christina is still a amateur and has'nt been
in the music business long enough to be called a true artist i love her music too.

Mariah Carey is a great singer but is not a true artist because creativity has always been her weakness. SHe doesn't know how to be an artist whose artistical qualities will be praised, she offers her "butt" to see too much!
It's just an awful thing to do for a great singer.
I really think great singing is not enough when you sell it with your butt, either showing it like her, or shaking it like Beyonce.
Get over this, girls!

Mimi is Mimi and Christina is Christina. They are both two very talented women and have their own style. I personally think Christina can blow but she YELLS too much in all her songs, kind of doesn't make it unique anymore. But besides that, she is one of the few with real talent in Hollywood. And Mariah speaks for itself. Check the billboard.

Christina Aguilera has been through so many um..rough times during her album Stripped but she's soo back with the album Back To Basics. She's really a true artist. she's been through bumps and twists to get to here with a really amazing voice.

MARIAH CAREY OF COURSE!!!
She writes her songs all by herself,she is the one that says the idea of the video clips(sometimes) and she does half of the music,believe this is what life is for her,plus she went through so much in life if the people who hate her wen through all that they would rather kill themselves,but she didn't she is alive and she is GREAT!!!!!

Well i think Christin had to work more,you know seh used to be all dirty and stuff,to get wheere she is today. But Mariah didnt really have to work because she just has an amazing voice. But they are both really talented. I think that they are both true artists in their own ways.
