I did. The first 2 I got, I searched it on the web and found that they were part of a laundry scam. Out of curiosity, I emailed one of them to ask for proof. Sent me a death certificate saying the person was in a car crash, but the letter said plane crash.
I printed the letters and took them to the police department. The police told me that these people are trying to get Americans bank account numbers to laundry money into the states. To cover their butts and blame the person whose account they get for illegal activity.

Oh yes, I have received this many times. I am VERY suprised at the number of people that fall for this kind of thing, I mean it's obviously a scam...are people that dumb?
