NOT A SINGLE PERSON. The people of New York are smarter and have more money. Obviously the people of New Orleans are gluttons for punishment. They re-elected Ray Nagin as thier Mayor. How smart is that. You know he had to know that there was something wrong with those Levees. If he thought that it was just another storm then why did he run the Mayors office in the top of a building. A tall building. Ray Nagin wanted to be another Gulianni. The differance though is that Gulianni didn't know what was going to happen until it happened. Nagin is a racist.

None! Ray Nagin is the biggest *** in the USA. He told people to come back to the city against the advice of FEMA. He blamed the feds, the state, the police, the media, and everyone else he could. What kind of leader is that? Rudy Giuliani, now he's what a real civic leader should be.

Hardly make a difference, it took us how long to implement the security protocols we have now, after the fact. two weeks a month?

The terrorists managed to do what they did because they exploited our own arrogance and complacency that we were safe. I've worked in a few different airports before & since 9/11.

As Mr Scott put it so eloquently, "you can bypass the plumbing, but you can always plug up the drain"

In other words, if you have the right information, someone motivated can do what others can not without pertinent information

If only we would have had 5 days notice before 9/11! I am no Nagin fan...he has said a lot of things that make me scratch my head in confusion. However, we all know that meteorology is not an exact science, and I think that people like to hold onto even the very slimmest chances that the worst won't happen. Unfortunately, this time it did, and those who took the chance with their lives and the lives of others regret it bitterly. It is unfortunate that so much tragedy resulted from unfounded optimism.

With Ray Nagin, 5 days?

That would be enough time to make new york a chocalte city again.

None, but New York had Giuliani and New Orleans had Ray.

That is a real good comparison of crap, seems like it is comparing apples to oranges unless the fact that Bush had knowledge about it before hand and did nothing.

Damn, the Mayor of Chocolate City actually came up with that on his own? I doubt it.
