Oh man...I did! It was awful and just started up suddenly. I had to start using a specific tooth paste (Crest mint) and cut the amount I used to pea size. The more foaming action, the more choked up I became. It was never with any nausea...just gagging. Fun times!

When I gagged everytime I brushed my teeth it was a sure sign for me that I was pregnant. If it is only once or twice and I wasn't feeling well then I had some kind of virus. I got a scare last week, I gagged when I brushed my teeth and thought I was pregnant..but the next time i didn't. Turned out I had a stomach virus.

I not only gag every morning when I brush my teeth but it seems to set off the morning sickness. I have tried changing tooth pastes. I have tried bottled water instead of tap water and nothing helps. It is slowly getting better though.

I did...EVERY TIME..I didn't have much morning sickness but brushing my teeth and gagging did cause me to vomit and that is a terrible circle lol..brush, gag vomit, brush, gag... I just tried to take my time and if I started gagging too much, I stopped, took deep breaths until I stopped and then continued. You'll get used to it.

Well yeah, everything tastes different, things seem different, some people throw up all the time or whatever, but I would go to a Dr or get a home preg test rather than aske a somewhat nebulous question. I had times in any pregnancy when you could have SAID toothbrush and I would have ralphed all over

Totally. I threw up everyday during the first 3 months of my pregnancy so I gaged the entire time while pregnant. Especially when brushing my teeth.

Well what I do is wait until later in the morning. You can use Scope or what ever you want to make your breathe fresh first. My Doc. said we sometimes trigger our gag-reflex and that is what cause that throwing up. So try to wait until later in the morning I promise it works.

Yup. That was me. There were days when brushing my teeth make me throw up and I'd brush again, throw up again and so on. I just had to stick with rinsing my mouth with salt water and use chewing gum on those days. Ick.
