how to make network between windows 2000 and windows xp?

windows 2000 pro is used in a laptop and the windows xp pro is used in a desktop PC the PC is connected to wireless router and the laptop is connected to the router through via card bus.

Please help me!!!!!!

In addition to what virgilio costa said, you might need to disable your firewall on each computer, or allow all. Or only allow the IP or MAC address of the computers on your network on your router table.

They use the same network system. You may find a wizard in windows xp (under control panel, network and internet connections). It's easy and straight.
