Just think about this for a moment: I am the little piece of dirt in this huge space. Can you imagine how big is that and how small you are?

As if it weren't hard enough to keep up with current scientific data(which alot of people don't do) now you have to worry about information that you've had for years changing for very little reason. It's not like anyone was wrong or a theory disproved. They just changed the criteria.Next thing you know they'll start renaming elements on the periodic table after Disney characters.I think that based on all of the other things happening in astronomy they could have left this one alone!

It is going to be hard to imagine that Pluto is no longer a planet in the Solar System that rotates around the Sun with Planet Earth. Now when I have to remember the planets, it is going to be hard to imagine there being no Pluto.

i thought it was a little quick. Pluto has been a planet for how many years? and within like a 2 week span of me hearing about this it gets dumped. its all about the $. somebody just wanted to write another book, and now they have to since every science book in the world is now wrong and school just started. Great.

Sad. Have to relearn my geography now. And find a replacement to " My Very English Monster Just Swallowed Up Nine Planets".

Im sure they're discussed the booting of Pluto from their group and they will surely bolt from the solar system if anyone attempts to expel anymore planets. I think they are quite pissed.

Sounds about right. Pluto is obviously different. We have to keep changing our thinking as we continue to discover so much that is left to discover out there.
