If you pay the electric bill based on a meter, it's your fault for not knowing where the circuit breakers are. If the electric comes out of the rent, call the apt complex and tell them to check the circuit breakers.

Sounds like someone in your apt complex blew a fuse in the circuit breaker box. Not the Electric Company's fault.

Check your own apartment - it might be a fuse or circuit breaker. You might have overloaded the line.
It's not the electric company or your whole apartment would be out. And probably the neighborhood.
Someone in the complex - handyman- might be able to look into it, but it would help if you do your own checking. If you're running too many appliances in that part of the apartment, you migh need to cut back.

You blew a fuse. Go find your fuse box and check the circuits. It should be an easy fix of throwing a lever or putting in a new fuse (if the house is older).
P.S. If it is a fuse (not a switch) make sure you turn the power off before replacing the fuse or you could get a nasty shock.

Check Your Fuse Box or ask your landlord I say a fuse is out no other reason cause it isn't the electric company's fault that's for sure if it was then all your lights would be off lol

The problem is in the apartment. Are you on two breaker boxes? Call your landlord or super. If it keeps happening, you can call the power company, as they usually don't charge, and it may convince your landlord to FIX THE PROBLEM!

If it is in an appartment complex then you shouldn't have to worry about it. Call the landloard and have them take care of the problem.
