I'd like to give a little something to my friend whose youngest is starting kindergarten next week. She's having a hard time dealing with her baby growing up!

Try a pampering bath and body package! Nothing like relaxing in a tub to soothe your cares away!
Try www.personalityscents.com! They are great and you can custom scent just for her!

Do you have any pictures of her daughter that your friend has given you over the years? If so, pick out the best one, have it enlarged, and give it to her framed with a note that says, in your own words, something like, "You can't stop them from growing up, but your memories will always be special."

As a mom, i might want to a lot rather get a hand-crafted present. If someone had to make dinner for me or do something around the domicile to help out or supply me a hand-crafted card, or positioned on my conventional action picture, which will be tremendous!

a little something for such a person going through such a hard time sounds too less a gift of appreciation... the most important thing is Time and Affection in such a time in life.. the best you can give her is your contribution in bringing up her child.. and being there for her and her child whenever she needs someone..

your contribution in bringing up her child will be a some gift for life and not just the mother but the child too will remember you as someone who gave her best in the growing up...

you will need a lots of patience and preserverance..
best of luck...
and best wishes...
