He did finish high school & he went to college. He got a two year automotive degree at the college he went to. (I don't know what the name of the college is.)

It may have been grade school age that he was enrolled in military school. Which he did not want to do. Gave him discipline. I'm sure his father made him finish high school. Not sure about college. He seems to be doing perfectly well without it, if he didn't.
He was groomed from childhood, to become a driver, by his father, and has grown up living and breathing racing. What would he do if not race. And yes, I think he truly loves the sport. In his heart I believe he does not wish to break his father's records, I know he's deliberately lost races to protect those records. That is honor. Very admirable in my opinion.
He has inherited his father's legacy, and maybe someday, the DEI empire, which is pretty much in Teresa's hands at the time. Could be part of the problem?heh?

He finished high school even though he wanted to drop out. I remeber watching a show with his dad and he said this was a major thing he wanted for jr.

Jr. graduated from Mitchell Community College with a degree in automobile tech.

He probably finished high school, but I don't think he went to college (a lot of the drivers didn't)

he finished high school,but he never went to college.his sister kelly was the first in the entire earnhardt family to go to college.she now runs dale jr's company.

Actually, I think he quit school. But, in order to be able to drive, his dad made him get his GED.
