I think that's great! As long as you guys work well together, why not? Don't let age stop anything from happening!
I'm a 25 year-old guy and I'd love to get into a relationship with a woman 15 or 20 years older than me. Many woman that age are incredibly beautiful, and are a lot more mature than girls my age!

Of course it is okay! Do you mean is it okay that he is 17 years old or because you are not legally divorced? !7 years older is just fine. The fact that you are not legally divorced can be a little issue but it y'all are legally separated that is just fine! Good luck!!! The older ones tend to be more noble and wise!

I don't think there is nothing wrong with it ,but.... Older usually means more experience ( not all the time ) they can have different expectations then younger men. I have always dated much older men then myself and they were all controlling ( like a father ) telling u what to do.
As long as he understands that ur your own woman and that he can't change u and he is willing to except u for u than it can work out.
GOOD LUCK!

Most ofthe time, in may-December romance, communications are stifled because you are a 'child' and have a 'parent' now. Your spouse or mate has seen so much more than you. knows so much more than you.
I much prefer a person within 5 years of my age, though I look for another 'immortal' who looks very youthful, like me... and, is so totally psychic... made a mistake, and had a psychotic... but, that is past...
Had a gf that was 18 years younger, and, I wouldn't have except she was so very anxious to love ME! But, we have so little in common for 23 hours of each day. We both realized that, and moved on.
Besides, she didn't own a boat.

Two answers, if you are asking about the age difference, I don't think that is a problem.
Are you really ready for a relationship and making a good decision with the new guy, only you really know that.

It's ok if it's ok with you. My neighbor married a man 15 years older. She is now 40 and he's 55 and acts like "an old man" in her words. He gets irked with her music and things like that. If you are mature and have alot in common with him that is great. You don't want to be his nurse maid in years to come, but if he takes care of himself that is fine.

Why are you asking us if it is ok?
Are you asking if it is ok because he's 17 years older?
Or are you asking if it is ok because you aren't yet divorced.
The age difference may or may not be a problem. It just depends on the couple.
But I would advise on waiting to date until you're divorced. It will make the divorce more complicated. And it's not fair to your new boyfriend.

I think it is perfectly fine. My husband is 14-years older than me. Age is only a number.

I think its fine. Age means nothing. My last man was 17 years older than me also & i loved him dearly. Go with your heart & don't listen to what some people are going to post on here. There is nothing wrong with it or you.

Love has no boundary. Get to know this guy more and follow your gut instincts.
If you feel lonely, do not make him as a rebound partner. Follow what your heart tells you.
All the best!
