With perfect use, effectiveness is 99.7%.

Since most people screw it up, actual effectiveness is 92%.

Meaning out of 1000 women taking the pill and having unprotected sex, 80 will get pregnant. if they were all using it properly and perfectly, 3 would get pregnant.

depends on which pills u take
as for combined pills if taken regularly there is 100% success rate but women normally forgets to take them in regular intervals so success rate is lower.
for progesterone -only pills the success rate is almost same but still combined pills i.e. progesterone + estrogen pills r much successful if taken regularly

99% but you HAVE to take them every day, about the same time. If you miss ONE pill you could get pregnant.
