kinda, I had a drwam that seemed so real... one day not long ago.... My alarm went off at 6am, I got up started to shave, got ready for work...looked at the clock to make sure I wasn't run'n late and it said 3:something am. I was soooo confused, and I saw the alarm was still set for 6am and still on, but I actually dreamed that the alarm went off and shut it off, when actually it never went off and I never turned it off, I dreamt the whole thing..except for getting ready for work

OUI! Many times I've awaken to find myself still dreaming. I wish that I had the ability to do it all the time. Some of my most complex problems have been solved for me in my subconscious mind. I've even found lost articles while dreaming...when I wake up, I (somehow) know exactly where I last had the item. In fact, when I can't find something, I program my subconscious mind to find it while I'm sleeping. It works like a charm. Try it before you laugh it off ;)

I think the first answerer is jealous it hasn't happened to him. If you practice, you can do almost anything while dreaming. I have always been a lucid dreamer. I don't always know I am dreaming but when I do I can change anything I like.

So, in answer to your question. Yes, that has happened to me several times. I have never dreamt of a talking fox though.

That has happened to me plenty of times... Ill wake up and think that had happened... and freak out. Until consciously... you learn that it was just a dream. And you really werent there and or that really didnt happen... and you really didnt see a talking fox on you monitor... Unless that is your screensaver!!

There are 5 stages of sleep... during the 5th stage of sleep... called the REM stage... your most vivid dreaming accures.

Something like that. I desperately want to wake up and in my dreams I can't. After struggling to wake up I finally do, but to my amazement I was only dreaming I woke up. This happens to me so often that sometimes I could detail in the dream if I'm dreaming or not. Those dreams actually are my nightmares, they suck!

No, but I've fallen asleep and dreamed I was awake!

Sounds like you were dreaming that you were dreaming then woke up inside the dream you were still dreaming? Jeez, must be hard to get rest lol...with all that action when you fall asleep, you must really zone out when you're awake...hence, another state of dreaming : )

Dude!! Put down the Crack Pipe and back away very slowly. Tomorrow the fox will be gone. Hopefully you wont see a raccoon next!

Your question sounds like you are talking about a dream within a dream, but your details sounds more like a hypnognomic hallucination.

YES! I had a horrible dream and woke up, so I thought, only to bring the dream into my bedroom. It was intense and have never forgotten it....
