YES Its packed because everyones kids are out of school! However, if you can take your trip in mid January, youll have the place to yourself, meaning no lines over ten minutes.

Yes, Christmas time as a whole is busy... typically December 16th through January 3rd. Although Christmas is a lot of fun at Disney, I recommend visiting during the slower months:

February - early May and mid September - mid November

Yes, I've been to Disney during those times and I came to find out that everyone thinks the same "that it's not that busy."

So many people flood to the FL area for a milder winter. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe for our Thanksgiving dinner and it was a great place to eat, it just doesn't mean the same eating Turkey without your family and friends joining us.

If you decided to go have a great time.

I was a concierge at Disney for 8 years....it is without a doubt the SINGULAR BUSIEST WEEK of the entire year....Magic kingdom seldom closes due to capacity....it can on occasion do that during Christmas and New Years......if you go do the other three parks on the holiday and save MK for the day after each holiday

Not only is it super busy - but Disney resorts are at their highest price level at that time!

We found the week before Thanksgiving to have the fewest crowds.

I've gone the day after Christmas and it wasn't that bad. I did go on New Years Eve and it was a mad house!!! I think it could go either way! You may luck out and have it not so crowded., or you could be in for a very crowded time. At least the weather will be nice!!

Many people think that it wouldn't be busy- that people would be relax the stress off. That's an illusion! A lot of people think that so a lot of people go at that time to avoid the holiday rush. Too bad for them!

No, on the contrary I think that's the time for them to relax a bit after christmas, since they do a lot of advertising and stuff before christmas.
