Come on man, killing little fluffy animals! The blood spouting out, matting their fur, their little eyes breaking... What's not to like?

some people like to kill animals so they can then eat them. you cannot eat an animal if its not already dead, or should we be eating live meat?
Are you lacking something in your brain if you want to feed your family?
People get pleasure from killing animals because it is natural. And also it is preferrable to being hungry.
So if you're hungry why don't you just go and buy some chicken from tesco? Because that chicken had to be killed to and probably had the most disgusting of horrible lives and the farmer probably got paid next to nothing for it.
I think it is a lot more humane to go hunting deer who were free and happy all their lives and then go home and eat it than to buy some piece of rubbish from tesco.
As for people who kill animals and then do not eat them, well thats pure waste! I do not aprove of that. That might have been what you meant.
Ye, so im not a vegitarian because Humans of blood type O are supposed to eat meat.

If your referring to killing animals for fun, that person has a serious mental problem.
If your referring to hunting. Alot of people especially in rural America use hunting to help feed their family's. Hunting for food is no different then buying meat at the store or a restaurant. Just cutting out the middle man. By hunting deer I can put a hundred pounds of venison (deer meat) in the freezer for about a third of the cost of beef at the store. And it is not full of preservatives, steroids, and has less than half the fat. Will not ever apologize or feel guilty for that.
And LGsys guarantee if a bear comes at you hard you'll cry for help too. Unless you think that Disney is what real bears are like. They're not.

At the turn of 19th to 20th centuries, the state of Missouri's deer population was in near ruin. Not from hunting, but rather a lack of it.Wasting disease and starvation brought the whitetail deer to near extinction in Missouri.
This led to the formation of our department of conservation, who, with careful study, realized that selective harvesting of animals, led to a healthier population.
Now we have deer everywhere. Major predators are making a return, and people who have a hard time feeding their families are benefiting from all of this..
By the way,,,, this program is almost entirely managed on funding from the sales of hunting licenses... If not for the hunters Missouri would not have the abundance of wildlife we have.

I am not a sad, pathetic control freak. Nor do I have a little willy(being a woman!)
I hunt with a pack of hounds that kill weak and injured foxes as part of pest control. I take my lurchers out to kill rabbits that have eaten into a farmers crops-his livelyhood. And dont forget these rabbits burrowing into horses or cattles fields and leaving bloody great big holes for the animals to fall down and break a leg.
Everyone has their own reasons for what they do so dont tar us all with the same brush.
By the way the rabbits arent wasted because we either have them for tea or our dogs eat them. Rabbit stew-yum yum

I often wonder how people can work in abattoirs, and how they can switch off when they are ready to go home for their evening meal. I cannot criticise because I'm a meat eater and I have to accept this is the way of the world but you are talking about individuals who kill an animal for the hell of it, I have no answer to that except to say they are sick and mentally retarded

it happens because some people are kind of heartless and think that animals don't have feelings, or even know that they do have and have fun and get pleasure making them suffer. That's what we call bad people. These people are really bad people and we wouldn't understand what happens in their minds, i just think that it can not me explained as something which we that care about animals and know their pain would understand. =/

Wish I knew. My neighbor gets all hyper evrytime he even hears anyone has a gopher problem so he can get out his little trap and nab the guy. They he waits with a screwdriver to stab it in the neck and head when he traps it. Seems to give hime something he needs to make his day complete. Just glad I'm not a gopher!

Power. Control. Dominance. It's sick, but people who can't get what they need from normal human interaction kill helpless animals to get that feeling of ultimate control over another life. Now that dirty, hole-digging, stinky armadillo that keeps invading our yard...that would just be taking care of a nuisance.

There are sick people who get pleasure out of making others suffer, whether those others are creatures whose spines face the sky or are vertical. Cruelty is cruelty and there are some sick and cruel people in this world.
