Looks here. I'm in a 10 man league where they have 2 rbs. My 2 RBs are Portis & Alexander. Got Portis for Bush & McAlister. Now with Portis's injury & the trade, should I trade Portis? Or should I keep Portis as a #2 RB behind AlexandeR? And also, now that we know about the trade, was Portis worth the price I paid him, which is Bush & McAlister?

Backup RBs are Corey Dillion & Cedric Benson. Both r high risk RBs. Corey Dillion is very injury prone & has Maroney on his tail. Cedric Benson, even though he is #1 RB in Chicago, has no respect within the Bears Locker Room. In other words, he got ratted out for doing some wrong by more than one Chicago Bears players. T. Jones has the whole locker room behind him & eventually, it looks like T. Jones will get the starting job instead of Cedric Benson. I find that stupid considering u spend a 4th overall draft pick on him & u refuse to even start him in his second year.

You have to keep Portis. When Healthy he is a top 5 back easily. You won't get fair value for him when he is hurt anyways and he is supposed to be back by week 2 or 3.

As for your others, Dillon is ok if he holds onto the job and Benson is not the starter in Chicago. It will be close to even in carries but Jones is the starter as far as I know.

Yes, Portis was worth what you paid for him.
I would keep Portis on my Roster unless you can trade him for Steven jackson, Tiki barber, e. James, C. Williams. If not keep Portis. Portis is a dominant RB. The best thing for you to do if you can't trade for one of the afformentioned backs is pick up Duckett. If he is not available... make sure you have a decent number 3 back. How does your depht at rb look?
Good luck.

keep him and hope for the best - you won't get good value trading him now - and if he does turn out to be healthy, you'll regret it big time.

if you can scrounge up Duckett and Betts, that will help you out.

Wait and see, Dillon is certainly capable of filling the void if Portis isn't ready to go week 1.
