i just got 2 new cd's that my mom burned for me and they wouldnt play in my stereo, but wen i put them in my cd player in my alarm clock they played just fine, y wont they play in my stereo??

i'm guessing the cd'z u got are in a different format like mp3 and ur stereo doesnt play those formats..

You need to have a stereo that is able to play mp3 (made at home cds) cds. I dont think there is a way to get the cd to play other than buying a new stereo.

It's most likely an MP3 CD, which are useful because they can hold up to 100 songs unlike a regular Audio CD. And MP3 can only play in certain CD players, why though, I'm not exactly sure. If you have iTunes or some music program on your computer you can rip the songs onto it and maybe put the songs onto an Audio CD or CDs if it has over 20 songs on it. Then you will be able to listen to the songs in any CD player.

There are just some cds that are burned that just wont play in stereos, I have one like that.....

They were prolly burned in a dif burn type. They were prolly burned in mp3 type and u can't do anything bout that either burn reg or buy new stereo that does play mp3. luck
