Your Husband needs to be the one to say I am married! You need to stop calling, sending cards etc. Then if you feel you have to be the one call her up and tell her that your husband has informed you of the calls, and cards and you would appreciate her to stop sending them as you are married!

Why isn't your husband telling her to back off. Why is he still accepting calls from her and why doesn't he just send the cards back marked "Return to Sender" I think the problem lies there. Talk to your husband and tell him how this is making you feel, I'm sure he has an idea. I am sure he wouldn't like it if your ex continued to call you and send you cards, etc. You need to start with him. Once he tells her to back off, it should stop. But if it doesn't, then I would tell her something.

On the plus side he's told you about it so that's good. On the minus side ... It has to come from him because, and by the look of it ... She will not take to your answer as gospel.

Now you are married, she should accept and respect the fact that he chose you over her and the fact that she doesn't seem to leave him alone seems to indicate some personality problems with her.

I think your husband should tell her to back off, leave you be and until he does so, firmly, i'm afraid this ex of his will see that as encouragement from his part to keep at it.

How do you get on with your in-laws? One of them might help out, talk to her? Although it would be so much better if your husband did!

Best wishes

Tell her to please stop or you will go to a lawyer and press harassment charges on her and you will go to the police as well and get a restraining order to make her stay away from where he works.
