When I was a Little girl, we lived next door to a woman & her two daughters whose husband was in the Gulf War. To keep herself occupied, she began making him a quilt! This was time consuming, kept her mind off of missing him & also she was making him something from her heart! Now a days, there are so many "new age" ways of making quilts..ie: photo qulits etc!

Read. Do community service. Go for a walk. Talk to other friends.
My boyfriend lives 8 hours away. My heart is there, I'm here. It's really difficult.

If you really love him I'm sorry to say that no matter how you try and keep yourself busy your other half will always be on your mind. Just do the best you can. Good Luck

Read a book, watch TV, go for a walk, get a b/f a little closer to home, find a new friend, take a long bath, start a new hobby outside of the home, play games online, give yourself a full pedicure / manicure...................just a few suggestions to get you started.
