first of all you canhave a direct flight from roma or milano to lax with alitalia but i suggest you to check prices may be if you find a cheap flight to london you can find a low cost (5 GBP) to venice http://www.ryanair.com/ If you arrive in london you can book a low cost from rome to london . Take care with timing the start and arrive in luton airport and not in gatwick

Host family it's really hard to find in venice and i have found this people on the web i hope they speak english...

Ryanair from Stanstead. They go to Venice, Milan and several other Italian Cities. Look up their website. At the moment, they are advertising Florence for 1 euro!

east mids to rome used to be dirt cheap.

i've put any airport from uk to italy for oct (u can change it if u want) and the cheapest is £13 including tax!!!

As you don't want to fly, how about coach? You might need to play about with the dates and destinations but I found a fare £53 single from London to Turin.

the best way is to book and buy a flight by ryanair. it s the cheapest way if you book as soon as possible

hi,, look up .... easyjet.com and check the prices.. and routes also... you may have to go to paris first and change to italy,, but just look... also Ryanair.com....
