America has no future. America is destined to become the greatest idea for a country that never was, because it was corrupt from the beginning. I stopped going to church when I was 18 because I think organized religion is wretched, but I vaguely recall something about the eagle falling.I always took that to be America. Our economy is not sustainable, our citizens are morons, our President is a joke, Our legal system is for sale and we will eventually be brought down by this war in Iraq.We have made enemies out of alot of countries, the Arab ones who are now pissed off and sick of taking our crap and they should be too. We have done horrible things to alot of people. What if all the Muslim extremists really want is for the US to own up to what they have done apologize and stop meddling!!!! They would never do it, but what if?? Our constitution says when your system of government no longer works you should tear it down and rebuild.

It depends if your are from the middle class or the upper class. With fuel prices being very high many middle class people are feeling pressure at work to make up the difference. At the same time people in the upper class are making more because wages are going up over all which means somebody is gaining ground and it certainly isn't the people that do the labor. I think we can get through this period but the people that are in businesses that are fuel related, such as shipping or moving companies will see a loss in profit and eventually they will have to inflate prices to stay afloat. When fear is added to the equation people tend to stop spending or they cut back. It will take more than lower taxes to get things back on track. Everyone knows that times were better ten years ago. I think we will have a period of political change in America followed by a different approach to the issue of gaining a strong middle class with confidence. We don't need a greater division between the classes, it will ruin everything this country stands for. Above all we need to improve the quality of life for people that are entering the system. They shouldn't have to worry about their future every night. I have been there it is a terrible feeling. I hope that someday every good hard working American will have a chance to own a house, have a family and eventually die without feeling any shame.

I don't think there's been a time in history where we've had a worse economy, even during the great depression we had assets and industry that we could employ to rejuvenate our economy. At this point a stock market crash could have us speaking chinese in a few years.
I can't imagine we ever had a worse foreign policy situation. I think our greatest diplomatic trial was the Cuban Missile crisis, how can that compare to facing off against both Iran and NKorea with our Army employed in another country??
Our Voter turnout is toast. Our education system is falling down and No Child Left Behind is choking the national school system to death. Our current President has had the lowest sustained approval raiting since we began measuring public approval of the president. Even Nixon was more popular.

Every day I wake up and my country isn't in flames I'm astonished.

i really think civil war is coming... look at the facts: 3/4 of Florida speaks Spanish, half of Texas, New Mexico, California speak Spanish. Detroit, Chicago are becoming Muslim cities. last year 800 000 people left California, but the population of that state grew because of immigration from Mexico. large Muslim communities are developing in Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, new york, l.a.

It is going to be kind of rough for the next 10 years or so, but as a nation we will survive. I can tell you this. This arrogance is going to evaporate like the morning fog in the sunlight. All in all, once we get past this stint of mind numbing ignorance, we will be doing much better.
