I grew up with a kid that became a director for Disney Animation Studios. He worked on the Goofy Movie, and I know he directed Tarzan.
Also, a few kids from high school are now into politics, so I guess that can be categorized as famous.

I grew up with Willie Fraser, who later became pitcher for the California Angels. Needless to say, he soon forgot about his old friends and his pro. career didn't last all that long either.

well, my cousin Sage Thompson was on Life on a Stick, Fox's short-lived, mildly funny sitcom that barely made it past the pilot episode (google it sometime, people! haha...) she is now working on some other acting gig, but i forget what.
