1. Put it on paper.
2. a floppy disk.
3. a hard disk.
4. a CD
5. a DVD
6. Magnetic tape.
7. secure digital (SD card.)
8. Smart media ( like above flash memory)
9. memory stick duo (ditto)
10. XD picture card (ditto)
11. USB flash memory stick.
12. Write it in a book.
13. Laser engrave it on just about anything - good for putting infomation on a diamond - used by Gemesis)
14. Archive it. Either in a traditional archive on paper - possibly photocopied or using a archive program that compresses data into a cabinet type file like Winzip)
15. Upload your information to another server. Try http://www.esnips.com to play at doing this.
16. Encrypt it using a password or a public key method.

You can get Winace from download.com - that will compress and encrypt your file and then upload it to 1 gig of space on esnips using their downloadable toolbar.

It gives you a jigsaw to do and a 3D art gallery to display your picture in when you've finished it. the gallery is great - with a fast video card you can treat it like a race track! you could try CD's and DVD,s or even a floppy disk for smaller amount. then it goes onto USB Pen drives, zip disks come in handy and then theres tape drivers :D

you can but storage servers or tape drives for high capacity storage backups..

for small amounts of data, you can store them on cd's or DVD's
