I would have to disagree.

While I admit that I am no scientist or astrologist – my common sense (or perhaps ignorance) suggests to me that this is not so. With the sun being as hot as it is, how could any liquid exist to be transported to earth without being evaporated beforehand by the extreme heat from the sun?

…But as I said earlier, if they have a study on this I would be very interested in seeing their logic behind this – but until then I say no.

The sun is busy converting hydrogen to helium, in the process converting a little mass into energy (Einstein's E=MC^2). Nowhere does oxygen come into that process. Your experiment is doomed to failure and you need to take a lot more basic science classes before you try any other experiments or you will continue to waste money.

You have to check the books you are reading or the shows you are watching or the persons you are discussing in general the source of this idea. If not you will get cold and die out of pneumonia from all the water that is pouring on your head when walking outside.

I do not believe there is any truth to this. As far as I know there is little to no oxygen in the sun and that is rather important in the production of water.

That would be scientifically impossible, as there is the same amount of water on the earth as there was 100 million years ago

Use your base logic. Do you think this could be real? If someone came up to you and said their is a ghost behind you, would you believe them? Too many problems arise from application of your own knowledge, to make either situation realistic.

Erhm, no. Not true. The sun bombards us with electromagnetic radiation, which is decidedly not water.
