Teflon is a non-stick surface. So a Teflon person of any kind is a person to whom "dirt" doesn't stick. In the case of a celebrity, it means that scandals either can't be found or simply don't matter to the public. In the case of the "Teflon don," John Gotti, it meant that prosecutors could never get any charges to stick.

It means no how bad a thing the star does, his fans won't leave him--it doesn't stick to him, just like Teflon.

It means that they have a shiny, slick, inpenetrable surface....that no matter what they do, nothing seems to stick....

Think Tom Cruise.....Paris Hilton....Kobe Bryant.......

Those would be teflon celebrities

I believe that it means that fans love their celebrity no matter what. Like it is not a big deal when the celebrity is foing it. Like druggs!
