I closed the account with Iomart because of faults when using the contact page and great difficulty in making any progress after four years of trying

You need to purchase new webspace, then go to whoever you bought the domain name through and change the nameservers to that of your new space.

You'll have lost all your data (unless you have a backup) but at least you have the same domain and can set everything up again.

* Go to www.bizdevsystems.com and click on eBusiness for a comprehensive suite of services from Domain names, hosting etc.
* If you still own the domain name, transfer it over and buy it out for 9 years + 1 yr free for a total of 10 years.
* If you don't have the domain name, buy the same here if its still available and if not, then put it on backorder and get some other similar and suitable domain name.
* You get free blog, free hosting, free full service eMail ID, free website and more with full control over your entire web experience.

Change your ISP to one that gives free web space. Mine is with Tiscali and I've not had any problems.

You call them, you pay the money you owe them and they give you your files.
